Cara Leah Dunne was not your atypical just turned 17 teenager, for one, she hung out in biker bars and hung out in the 9-11th mile of Detroit in her free time. Her shoulder-length brown hair was shaggy in a stylish way, and she had a septum and a monroe piercings. She also had a pair of sunglasses on all the time, and, even though she had a short, 5' 0" stature, she was renown as an almost unbeatable fighter. Not that her alpha were ability didnt count in that. It made her stronger, faster, able to win.
Today was no exception for Cara as she walked outside of her mobile home in Detroit to see a naked lady run past, high as a kite and screamin like there was no tomorrow.
"I'll see ya later, ma!" Cara called in, even though she knew peefectly well that no one was inside. She'd been living by herself for a while now.
Cara walked, and walked, and walked, until she hit her favorite bar, where she sat in a very back corner and waited. Yesterday she had gotten a note, tucked neatly in her door that she didn't even notice until it hit her on her head. The note begged her for help, and told her to meet the mystery person here, at this exact table, Cara tugged at her leather jacket and sat defensively, arms crossed.
Derek Wolfgang approached a table with apprehension, a girl was already sitting there, arms crossed, eyes hidden behind her sunglasses. Derek was a big guy, all muscles, but he didnt want to kick a girl out of a spot, wether he was supposed to meet sombody there or not. It just didnt sit right with him.
Unless this was who he was meeting? Derek doubted it. For one, the notes sounded as if a guy had beem writing them. Not a chick. Derek slid next to her and raised a brow.
"You get a note to?"
The girl nodded an affirmitive and Derek yawned, stretching out his senses to try a peek into the other peoples pysche, and see who really sent them that note.

Ridley rolled her eyes as they entered a biker bar. "See Fang we should be having fun not hunting down your sister. She'll show up. Sky always shows up." Ridley huffed sliding her black shades over the top of her head against her honey toned blonde hair. She pulled the lace chained back skirt a little lower down her waist and pulled a pink lollipop out of her pocket sucking on it thoughtfully.
"Ridley do you have to do that now?" Fang complained his normally warm chocolate eyes hard and fixed to looking around the bar.
Ridley shurgged "You want free drinks then let a girl work."
Ridley was a vampire though she was better known for being a siren. A powerful siren, a dark one at that. She lacked little human emotion, empathy, remourse and all the other human emotions where a thing of the past for her. Now a days the only emotions she felt were lust and hunger which gave her a powerful drive for playing games with people. She had a habit for trouble and it seemed to be attracted to her, how couldn't be a tall, slender blonde with pale skin and ghostly amber eyes standing around 5"8. She was an accident waiting to happen. Especially concidering that with each lick of the lollipop she could persuade almost anyone to do anything she wanted, kill themselves even if she saw fit.
Fang on the other hand was rather different to his friend. He was loyal to those around him but being relatively new to the vampire situation thanks to Ridley he was easily swayed. Hunts and bloodlust often found their way becoming appealing. Honestly it depended on what kind of day you caught him in. At the minute he was too worried about Sky his younger sister to be overly concerned about hunting ideas. He was rather tall standing around 5"10, his slightly tanned skin contrasting against Ridleys pale skin. Pointed fangs and brown shaggy bangs defined his look.
He grabbed Ridleys hand giving her a light tug he pulled her towards too people sitting down. They looked the hardy type, it seemed like the kind of thing the note mentioned. Ridley gave an unhelpful sigh as she slipped into one of the chairs and Fang slipped in next to her giving the two a light nod whilst Ridley sucked noisely on her lollipop. Stupid Siren.
"You guys get a random creep note too?" He asked cocking an eyebrow looking about nervously.

Cara leaned forward and raised a brow. "All i need to know is whats in this for me." She said. "I mean, stretching my legs and crackin heads ia something I do on a daily basis. Im down to help. But this seems like as much trouble as its worth. Maybe more." Cara ran her hand through her hair and beamed, studying the teo faces. "Do we even know what happeneed? No. I just need to think about whats best for me as well."
Cara looked around the bar, many guys were looking at lollipop girl, but one or two were studying their entire table, cara lowered her glasses and her hazel eyes met theirs, and they looked away from the intense stare. Cara had learned a long time ago that humans couldn't meet the gaze of an alpha for longer then a few seconds. She looked back up at the table and raised a brow. "You know, sratvh what i just said, im down for a rescue long as i can get out of Detroit for a while." She murmured.
Derek studied the two newcomers to the table. He raised a brow and read their pysches. The girl next to him, Cara, was it? He pysche just seemed very antsy and tired at the same time. The boy across from him was serious. And the other girl that just sat down. Her pysche was just strange, almost nothing. He stared at her for several long moments, trying to figure out why that was.
"I'm Derek." He rumb,ed. Derek always rumbled like that. And his emerald eyes studied them intensely. "Who wanys a drink to talk things over with?" He offered, raising an eyebrow.

Ridley was quick to take the lead in talking. "Your life?" She snickered and Fang nudged her. Ridley rolled her eyes. "Look He's all up for money rewards blah blah blah. Personally I don't have time for that shit. We need the best we can get to help us. Honestly I don't feel like getting my hands dirty, it's the only reason he wanted other people to do the job." She pulled the lollipop out of her mouth her cool amber eyes moving from one to the other. "So the break down is...you don't get this done. I'll kill you." She smiled sweetly and stood up. "I'll get the drinks."
Fang groaned as Ridley began speaking. He stood his head watching as she stalked off to pick her victum. "Ignore her." He sighed a little running his hand through his hair he gazed at the girl steadily. "She has....issues." He waved his hand. "The reward will be cash, whatever you want you name it. I can explain but honestly the story isn't really worth hearing. My little sisters missing, two weeks ago, hangs out in the gang seen. Nasty people, tough. Theres a trail but it's going cold...we need to be quick." Fang continued takig a steady breath. "The name's Fang....the blonde bomb shell flirting at the bar over there is Ridley. She's trouble mostly so I'd just leave her be."
Ridley headed over with the drinks setting them down on the table winking at the guy whom had apprently bought all their drinks without a grumble and set them down on the table with a wink. "So kids, we ready to drink up and head on?"
Fang picked up a drink and shook his head a little before taking a dip sip. "Looks, the truth is we can do this with or without you but I could do with the help. As far as I know Sky's in a high security place. Kitted up with guns, dogs the works. I have an idea why they want her but honestly theres no point explaining." His eyes ran over the two while Ridley apprently played with her hair making her bordom plain. "So are you guys in or not?"

Cara thought about it for a few moments. Then shrugged. "Ill do it." She said, taking her drink and downing it in about two gulps, she stood up and stretched languidly before shoving her hands in her pockets. "Hi tech sounds more like whiney rich kid to me, and in case you havent noticed." She waved her hand around the bar and at her. " I really hate whiney rich kids."
Cara took off her sunglasses and picked up her bag, meeting Ridleys eyes for a long moment before flicking them over to fang. "I'm Cara, but im sure you already knew that." She wandered off to the bar to fill her drink up.
Derek stretched slowly. "Im completely down. Adventure is just what i need." He glanced over at Cara as she went to the bar. "Dont mind her, her pysche is fluctuating a lot. Shes going from calm to angry to controlling to hyper in nanoseconds." He shrugged, his back muscles rippling in the process.
"Ill do it for a few hundred, i dont need much." He raised a brow. "Wht kind of gang? This is the 10th mile, detroit, theres a million gangs."

Fang's gaze followed Cara to the bar for a minute or two before he nodded slowly. "Wolves can be like that." He muttered quietly. He hadn't be sure at first or when he read her file but he could tell now. There was a clear wolf air about the girl. This was going to make things a lot more interesting than he had suspected.
He looked over at Derek and smirked a little "Lets just say my family and theirs have been at war for a long time. Think of it like the Capulets and Montagues. We go way way back in histroy." He finished off his drink and picked up his jacket sliding it over his shoulders. He looked over at Ridley "Hey you, if your going to keep sucking that thing you may as well be useful and go get us a ride."
Ridley drained her drink and looked over at Cara wrinkling up her nose. "She should meet my mood swings." She chuckled darkly and shrugged at Fang. "Sure. I'll see what I can do." A minute or two later and a few licks of a lollipop and Ridley was honking the horn of a hummer outside the bar lazily flopping one arm out the window as she thrun the now empty lollipop stick onto the floor while a rather dazed looking biker watched them from across the lot.

Cara walked back over and swallowed her second drink. "Im not just any were. Im an alpha were." She rubbed the back of her neck. " and id like to know how it is you came across my name and know what i am, because you are a stranger. And i didnt becone an alpha cause of my pretty smile. So i know I've never seen you before." Cara shook her head and, without waiting for an answer, she walked out to the car.
"Hummer. Nice choice. " she murmured as she clamored in the backseat.
Derek raised an eyebrow at Cara retreating back as he stood up and looked at Fang. "Girls are crazy." He stretcned and followed Cara out the door, slow e ough so he could hear Fang. "But she is right, we dont really know much about you guys, and the questions i want answers to would certainly help is draw an idea of how highly they'd keep your sister locked up, or god forbid they torture her." He waved a hand over to the door. "I mean, we can bumble along just fine without knowing, but creating a profile on this person usually helps, if only a little bit." Derek shoved his large hands in his pockets and tried not the loom, unfortunately, he was always looming. His eyes sparkled with intelligence and questions, and his dark hair fell into his emerald eyes.
"Is your sister even in Detroit, man?"

Ridley laughed in the drivers wheel and shook her head looks across to the passenger seat to Fang. "You may as well tell them everything Fang. Make life easier for us all." She said bored checking her hair in the mirror before starting the engine pulling out into the high way.
Fang sighed and closed his eyes back leaning against the chair. "When you know the right people you can get the right files, though I'll admit, it didn't say you were an allpha. That might complicate things." He took a deep breath trying to work things out. "I'm a Redfern." He said exhaling slowly as he looked out the window. "The oldest and purest lines of vampires. A direct link to the first ever vampire...it's why they've got Skyler...Truth is Ridley was sent to find me. I'm from a hidden bloodline of human decendants. The Redferns hired her to bite me. Reunite the family I guess." He paused winding down the window. "It's why the Lycans have got Sky. Mostly Elders. The hidden vampire bloodline traces back to both bat and wolf. I think they want her to turn her into a hybrid against our own kind."
"So there you have it." Ridley butted in. "Basically your an alpha wolf, you gotta kick the ass of the elder wolves and saves a royal vampire bloodline and the vampire race, effectivly allowing us to continue our war in controling the world." She chuckled happily. "Peachy right?"

Cara blinked. "I may hate the Elders, but theyre the elders for reason, I cant beat them." Cara ran a hand through her hair hair and growled. "I can get her out of there, but kicking their asses is a whole other demon i've been trying to figure out for a long, long time." She pulled her legs up so that Cara sat indian-style. "I never heard the full story of why Redferns and Lycans hate each other so much. Call me stupid. But my old pack was all about keeping my ass out in the dark."
Derek stretched. "Well then since Cara wil know all about how to get in and out of there, no profile needed. Sweet." Derek raised a brow at Ridley, whose pysche was still stagnant, he tried to send happy waves over to her pysche and he looked out the window. "So then i take it we're going to your place right?" It was the only place he could think of that no wolves would be watchingand they could plan an attack wuietly.

"You kidding?" Ridley snickered "We take you guys to our place and it won't just be me itching to rip off your heads." She turned right off an intersection.
"You know Ridley it's vampires like you that are the reason we are at war." Fang shook his head disapprovingly.
"Yes well I'm also the kind of vampire that ends up ruling the world." She shurgged a little though her body tensed somewhat seemingly allowing some emotion through. "Besides you know the dark ones can't choose how we live Fang. So you can stop bringing it up."
Fang smirked a little and shook his head. "Personally I think you dark ones just crave attention. Thats your speciality ain't it Rid?" He laughed and looked over at Cara raising an eyebrow. "Where heading to a cabin the family owns. Stock up on weapons and stuff." He ran a hand through his hair. "Basically the war started over territory, hunting, rights, that kind of thing. Then the vampires, my great-great-great grand father...the first vampire, decided that vampire were better than werewolves. Wolves are below our species." He smiled darkly. "They started to capture them, torture them, use them as slaves and pets."
"Don't forget the rest Fang. Your almost making it sound like it's all our fault." Ridley hissed angerily. "Then the princess, daughter to Karn, fell for a werewolf servent...they...they consorted." Ridley spat "Then the wolves abducted her tried to convince her to help them. Like they are trying to do with Sky now. When Karn got Aliarna back he had no choice but to kiss her. His own daughter. To prevent the Lycans from taking over." Ridley pulled up into the drive. "Since then we have been at war since." She got out the car and slammed it shut storming into the cabin.
Fang took a deep breath and gave a shrug. "As you can see she believe the word or my father, my grand fathers to a tee. Truth is...no one knows the real story. The werewolf slave, Drogin, fled after he tried to save Aliarna and failed. The leaders from both covens both know the truth of course but they only ever tell you what they want you to believe." He snorted "Unlike Ridley I know better."

Cara stretched and stepped out of the car. "I remember the slavery. I was one when i was very small. They made me clean places adults can't fit in." She glanced over at Ridleys back. "Blind faith in your leaders will get you killed." She murmured. Remember that quote from somewhere, she looked over at Fang. "When I became an Alpha were, The elders refused to accept it for a long time, Not many people that aren't direct descendants of an Elder get recognized with Alpha status." Cara rolled her shoulder. "They constantly not inviting me to meetings and such. They're a pain in the ass." Cara rolled her neck and stopped her tirade. "I'll get your sister back, Fang. We don't need to go to such great lengths to create a resistance. The elders are too old and decrepit to realize that."
Derek sent stronger happy waves in Ridleys direction as he stepped out of the car and stretched his legs, following her inside the cabin. "I suppose your not one for politics then, hm?" He rumbled, raising a brow at her. His emerald eyes met hers for a second and they sparkled with curiousity. He stretched out long arms and gave a small, sweet smile at her. Derek had always been taught to ask women questions the prevoked intelligent answers. His father had said most women liked talking with people who weren't an idiot, and it was usually right. But he rarely talked to anyone outside of his family and the few school friends he had for any length of time.

Fang shrugged a little uneasily. "They are still near impossible to kill alone." He looked at Cara steadily. "I just need her out of her before they try experimenting." He bit down on his lip a little harder. "So far as far as the vampires have been able to figure ever testing on the Redfern human decendants hasn't worked. They are dying instead of creating Hybrids." He entered the cabin and picked up a set of specially modified liquid nitrogen bullets and loaded them into the hand gun on the table. "I can't let Sky die like that."
Ridley ignored the wolfs comments for now and picked up a handful of lollipop wrapped in the same bubble gum pink wrapper. Her lollipops and a mean set of Sai blades. A type of blade which she could conveniantly hide anywhere on her person due to their small nature however, still, in Ridleys hands she didn't exavtly need a gun. Ridley looked over at Derek from her shoulder and snorted. "Not exactly. I don't have time for that kind of thing. I just follow orders." She huffed a little and looked over to Fang. "Hurry up. Night fall will hit soon. They'll be at the highest point of power soon...so will I."
Fang nodded and stood up rolling a map out across the table before Ridley took two swift movements towards the fridge in the near by corner and pulled out five or so blood bags. Lightly she tore the top off one and pressed it too her lips closing her eyes.

Cara touched his shoukder. "Retreiving her isnt the problem. Its killing the Elders that worries me." Not to mention, if she got caught. They'd kill her viciously. But getting caught wasnt on her agenda and then therefore, it wouldnt happen. Cara bit her monroe and picked up, simply, a silver dagger. As some wolves were allergic to silver, some werent. But if she got stick mid-change, the dagger would come in handy. "If theyre trying to convince herto help. Then she wont be test on for a while yet." Cara stretched and grinned. "Well get her back though." Cara ran a hand through her hair and her stomache growled. "You guys have any food here?" She asked with a one raised brow. She passed Fang and patted his shoulder lightly.
Derek sat down and stared intently at Ridley. "Just follow orders? Theres nothingnyou do for yourself, then?" He asked. Truthfully, he had never heard of such a thing, so he doubted she'd say yes. But as he stared at her, he started wondering what was she really like, as a person. Derek ran a hand through his hair, and rolled his neck and shoulders. He didnt really need any weapons, but he grabbed a small gun and placed it in his jeans, after checking that the safety was on. Derek rolled his neck and tilted his head very slight to the left. A habit he had when he was curious about something.
Derek blinked at her and sat down. "
